We are a group of friends dedicated to mixed breed dog rescue primarily in Lake County, and also all of northern California. Our mission is to help decrease the pet overpopulation problem in Lake County. Occasionally we have other animals available for adoption — purebred dogs, cats and kittens, barnyard and others.

We do occasionally take dogs, but when we can't we are always willing to give advice and list them on our website in our owner listed section.

This sweet girl was adopted from us, and was with her adoptive family for less than a week when she got spooked and slipped out of her harness on a walk. With help from the community, she's been found and is safely back at home. Many thanks to Ann and all on Oak Ave in San Rafael who helped by calling us and feeding Alva. We never would have found and caught her without all of your help! Since she has been back she has started going to obedience classes and is becoming more confident. All of our pets are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, or arrangements to do so will be made. To our ability most of our animals are crate trained and housebroken. They live in a home environment, and are exposed to children, cats, dogs, etc. See our current list of adoptable dogs, adoptable cats, or other types of animals available for adoption.
